We will work with you to tailor a specific, customized plan for the legal needs of your company. With our VIHA services you can have continual access to an attorney without worrying about your budget. You are put on a true “retainer” basis, and will pay a fixed, flat fee for a designated number of hours each month at a substantially discounted rate. Additionally, if you exceed your hourly base in any month, the additional hours will be billed at a 20% discount off our standard, non-VIHA, rates.
From our Los Angeles office, we can provide on-call advice, assist with contract negotiations, prepare contracts and templates specifically designed for your business, prepare corporate legal documents, assist with trademark and copyright filing and protection, and advise you regarding employee legal matters no matter where you are located; in fact, our clients are located all over the United States.. The VIHA program provides the benefit of having your own in-house counsel, but does so at a fraction of the cost, since it provides significant savings over our standard billing rates. By appointing us to manage your legal affairs, you may concentrate on what you do best—running your business.
You are put on a true “retainer” basis, and will pay a fixed, flat fee for a designated number of hours each month at the discounted rate as low as 50% off our standard rate—a significant reduction from our standard rate of $265 per hour. Packages start at a minimum of 10 hours per month. We will work with you to tailor a specific, customized plan for the legal needs of you or your company. Additionally, if you exceed your hourly base in any month, the additional hours will be billed at a 20% discount off our standard, non-VIHA, rates.
This will be a significant savings to you. For example, if you are now currently averaging between 6-12 hours of attorney time per month, at $300/hour (based on a national average) that would equal between $1,800 and $3,600 per month in attorneys’ fees. With the VIHA program, you would purchase 10 hours a month for the flat rate of $1,500 (which would be less than you would usually pay for only 6 hours of legal services). On a month where you used the full 10 hours, you would have spent only $1,500 with the VIHA program—versus $3,000 with traditional law firm billing. That is a 50% savings on what you are currently paying for legal fees.
In the same example, if you went over the 10 hours and instead used 12 hours of our time, then with our VIHA program you still would only spend $1,924 ($1,500 for the base 10 hours, plus an additional 2 hours at the discounted hourly rate of $212 per hour, i.e. a 20% discount off of our traditional $265 rate, which is already lower than the national average) instead of $3,600 for the same 12 hours of attorney time, based on the national average.
